The Forbidden Forest
Great new short film from Woodhouse Creative out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. The whole thing has a very 70’s feel to it and it is hard to decide if it is dream or a nightmare. Software used was: After Effects, Cinema 4D, Premiere and Apple Logic Pro.

Upper First says, “In this piece we’ve combined two of our interests, creative visuals and electro music…The idea was to use projections on mannequins to achieve a different and interesting expression where graphics almost become clothes on the bodies.”

Have a look at this brilliant trailer from director Nicolás Méndez and produced by CANADA. Beautiful editing on this one, and an absolute joy to watch and listen to as well! With the 4:3 aspect ratio and 16mm film it gets as close to a 70’s feel as possible. The full-length film will be out next year.
